Free Georgian-language cognitive games for kids
GamIA is a free platform of 16 cognitive games built for Georgian-speaking children and teenagers ages 8 to 16. Every game runs in the browser, in Mkhedruli script, with no account required.
Why GamIA exists
There are excellent educational games for English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin speakers. For Georgian, there are almost none — and most of what existed five years ago is offline today.
GamIA fills that gap. Every game is built around Georgian language, history, geography, and culture: a Georgian-language Wordle, a crossword in Mkhedruli, a typing-speed game on Vepkhistqaosani (Shota Rustaveli's national epic), a quiz that asks you to place Georgian historical events in chronological order, a map quiz that drills you on Georgia's regions, a proverbs game that teaches Georgian wisdom literature one phrase at a time.
We built GamIA because Georgian-speaking kids deserve the same cognitive scaffolding their international peers get — on their own terms, in their own language.
How GamIA works
Free, no account, no ads in gameplay.
Pick a game. Play. Scores save to a local leaderboard with a random Georgian nickname — we never ask for your name, email, or age.
16 games, two formats.
- Daily challenges — same word, same puzzle, same map for every Georgian-speaking player that day. One attempt. Come back tomorrow.
- Free play — infinite-mode versions of most games, for when you want to keep going.
AI Explain in classroom mode.
When you miss a History, Geography, or Math question, GamIA generates a 2–4 sentence explanation in Georgian using Google Gemini — pre-cached for common questions, rate-limited per user, unlocked at the 7-day streak.
GDPR-conscious by design.
Random nicknames. No PII collected. No tracking pixels. No ad networks. The whole platform is built so a Georgian parent can hand their kid the tablet without thinking twice.
